FAQ & Tips
How do I share this doc with my team?
Click Share at the top right of the page and add your teammates’ emails. It’s also helpful to give your team a quick explainer of what the doc is. Here’s a template you can copy:
. Click Columns → find the Slack Msg column → Right click and choose Column options. Here’s where you can edit the message template. Type @ to insert values from a column.
The Slack Msg column is a Compose type, which allows you to write dynamic messages. This means each Slack message will be different based on what’s in the table.
For example, in the first sentence of the message, there are two pieces that will change for each row:
“Author just submitted the Update name 3P update.”
If you clicked the button on the first row, it would read “Mary Jones just submitted the Maps API infrastructure 3P update”. But if you clicked the button on a different row, it might read “Buck Dubois just submitted the Rocket Rides 3P update.”
Can I change the 3P template to something other than progress, problems, and plans?

Standardized — everyone across the team uses the same template.
