Coda started with a big idea.
In a world where tech and gadgets are ever-evolving, the doc landscape has remained outdated and stagnant. Enter Coda.
Our mission.
To be the blinking cursor of choice for the next billion makers to collaboratively solve problems for themselves, their teams, and the world.
80% of the Fortune 100 use Coda to improve their work.
Docs were just the beginning.
We created a new kind of doc that seamlessly brought words, data, and teams together. But we didn’t stop there. We took the building blocks of our big idea and grew it into an all-in-one work operating system.
"Coda makes it easy for people to get the information they need, which not only saves time, but also empowers them to do the job."

Our Founders
Some things are just meant to be. This sentiment rings true for Coda’s co-founders, Shishir Mehrotra (CEO) and Alex DeNeui (CTO), who first met in college at MIT where Shishir was driven by elaborate spreadsheets and Alex, cranking out code. It was inevitable that these friends, turned co-workers (Microsoft, Google), would find a way to join forces and use their powers to transform the docs and workspace world for the better. Or as we know it today: Coda.
