Not directly. Staking platform.
No. Imitation of Ethereum: Proof of Stake, 300TPS, NFTs, no dApps yet due to concurrency issues, LINK as oracle, gets delisted sometimes.
No. Metaverse.
Yes, on ElasticVault, or as daily trading when ZKSync support comes. Sell when above $1, buy when below $1 — most AMPL holders misunderstand this, even those who advocate AMPL and are community members.
No. It is a wrapped token for HODL, however ElasticVaults are better for that, and for trading ElasticSwap is better.
No. Metaverse.
No. There is no token, without research it seems an imitation of zksync, and zksync has won.
Yes, speculative. Has big investment, but personal skepticism, as REN, SOL, and LRC seem better. Competitor to Polkadot/DOT, RUNE. Subchains include: Binance, Crypto.com, Terra, Thorchain. 130 validators. Staking. Own Oracle. ETH tokens aren't available yet on the app.emeris.com demo... perhaps just an issue with the demo? Only 4,000 TPS.
Yes. Sits between Gold and Stocks.
Yes. Sits between Gold and Stocks.
Yes, speculative. Has big investment but personal skepticism, as SOL and Ethereum's ecosystem seem better - hasn't yet finished vesting yet, check again next week. Competitor to Ethereum. Only 4,500 TPS (less than POS-ETH and Solana). Supports AMPL, USDC. $250m of investment, even from Deloitte and Mastercard. Supports NFTs. Supports AAVE. Supported by Celsuis, Trader Joe, Sushi, Binance. Eventually Metamask, and cross-chains and ATOM/Cosmos/IBC. Vesting cliff at end of march... CB criticism is lack of transparency compared to other competitors (Phantom which is SOL/Solana's wallet).
Not yet. No token.
YES, long hold. I actively use this everyday, only limit is not on zksync.
Yes, largest crypto ecosystem.
Yes, speculative short hold. LAYER2. Crypto.com lists but not tradeable. Competitor to LRC and zkSync/ZigZag. It replaced OMG, but is very new.
Yes. Reasonable staking app.
No, metaverse.
Not directly. Staking platform.
No. crypto.com has great marketing, that pushes you into a CRO ponzi scheme, which underdelivers. App is buggy, can only pay card with fiat, long wait times, not much transparency. WXT/Wirex would have been a better choice.
Not directly. Staking platform.
No. Unhealthy GitHub; hype must be shilling. LAYER2. Ethereum Layer 2 solution, competes with LRC and zkSync. discord signup was a bit weird.
Not directly. Staking platform.
Yes, speculative short hold. Once listed by CEX dump. Prefer direct assets that I believe in.
No. The sharding is exclusive to a bidding process that only billionaires can afford. It doesn't help independent creators, and only 1,000 TPS - less than everything else.
Yes. Covers expertise I do not have.
No. Unhealthy GitHub; hype must be shilling. LAYER2. Competitor to LRC, zkSync/ZigZag.
No. Unhealthy GitHub; hype must be shilling. LAYER2. Competitor to LRC. Token is just for paying transaction fees, nothing more.
Maybe. Inverse token with AMPL on ElasticSwap. If AMPL is selling, this is profiting.
Yes. PoS-ETH will be 100,000 TPS, higher than Solana 65,000, and higher than everything else by a wide margin.
Yes. Best ethereum staking option currently.
No. Stakewise is better.
Yes. Staking that makes sense. Better than Lido, Yearn, and Rocket Pool.
No. Stakewise is better.
No. Stakewise is better.
No. I see no future for IPFS compared to torrents or Storj or Cloudflare.
No. AMPL is better.
No. See AMPL.
No. AMPL is better. This is the same as UST / Terra.
No. AMPL is better. This is the same as LUNA and EEFI.
Not yet. No token.
Yes. Covers expertise I do not have.
No. UNDERGOING SOME MERGE WITH STAKE: Stakewise supports it.
Speculative yes. Verifiable APIs.
No. LAYER2. Only handles NFTs
REPLACED BY Threshold Network. Competitor to REN and Ethereum Layer 2 solutions.
No. UNI is better.
No. See DOT.
Research more. Is it just governance, or does it interact with stETH?
Not directly. Oracle. Competitor to UMA.
No. Metaverse.
Research more.
Yes, speculative long hold. LAYER2. Ethereum DEX using ZK Rollups, so competitor to zksync? Competitor to Uniswap which is a AMM. Incredibly efficient. 16400 TPS, 1 million users, snapshots, liquidity mining. Targets 4 billion users, and all ERC-20 tokens, DeFi. Partnerships with LINK/Chainlink, Coinbase, MakerDAO, Metamask. Been stable for a long time.
Yes, speculative short hold. Token for their stablecoin network, which has become the most popular in DEFI, and already has many stablecoins in its network. It is essentially a AMPL v2, as rather than reallocating wallet supply, it just mints or burns global supply. Both AMPL and LUNA zero need for reserves, wins over DAI (need defi reserves) and USDC (need regulated reserves). Terra is essentially Ampleforth's StakeVault, where UST is AMPL, and LUNA is EEFI, but they have already shipped mass successful scale. AMPL therefore is more just for screwing over idiot buyers who hodl over $1. Supports Staking via Anchor Protocol, DeFi Exchange, Mirror Protocol, Insurance Protocol called Risk Harbor. Second largest smart contract cryptocurrency. Keeps delivering more and kicking ass, more TPS, partnership with LINK/Chainlink, and a lot of merchant support. Huge advocate initiatives. LUNA pumps when UST pumps. Rumored to become official stablecoin in South Korea. Biggest criticism is lack of transparency.
Yes, speculative. LAYER2. Competitor to LRC/Loopring, zkSync/ZigZag, SOL/Solana — and may lose to them. It has adoption, but infrastructure is very early days, and stagnating growth compared to other Ethereum Layer 2, but roadmap will address this. Competitor that extends Ethereum, but doesn't seem to support ETH tokens natively, needs Ren I guess, also not many wallets support it. Set protocol supports Polygon and Optimism. It's mobile wallet (Hermez) is crap. India founded. Apparently compatible with Ethereum chain, but I couldn't find it. Major criticism is transparency, and centralisation, and a lot of it doesn't work - marketing is major deliver. Partnerships with Aave, Ren, LUNA, Google, EY, Crypto.com. Sandbox built on it. Miden is a planned ZK Stark Layer 2 for Polygon, currently only 10,000 TPS.
Maybe... Unhealthy GitHub; hype must be shilling. Competitor to LRC, MATIC. LAYER2. zksync v2 may deprecate it. Ethereum Layer 2 rollup platform, competitor to zkSync and Starknet - but uses optimistic rollups and supports EVM. No wide knowledge, no coinbureau video, so mass growth potential. Clear marketing. Mainnet launched 2021 Nov 19.
No. AMPL is better.
Not directly. Loan platform.
No. Competitor to Ethereum and Solana, supports staking and compatible with Ethereum smart contracts. No public TPS figures, only 385k transactions DAY. Partnerships with Opera, FileCoin, Cardano (which is a competitor with LUNA/Terra and MakerDAO), MetaMask - has any of these landed - it seems all marketing, in like how crypto.com is all just marketing which when you get the card, its shit. Worse than Solana (also rustlang based, but solana is hiring more), playing catchup to Solana and Ethereum.
Yes. Good staking app.
Research more. Competes with LINK, OCEAN, GRT.
Not directly. Data platform for enterprise.
Research more. Possible competitor to AMPL?
REPLACED BY BOBA, DO NOT USE
Not yet. Set protocol supports it, along with Polygon/MATIC. However Optimism has no token, and is in alpha stage.
Yes. Best gold token.
Not directly. Some finance market thing.
No. Native polygon wallet, it is a piece of shit.
Not directly. Some enterprise thing.
Not directly. Staking.
Seems dead. Coin bureau last update was 2 years ago.
Yes. Australian. Cross-chain tokens, decentralised via Tendermint, centralised by major funder will be decentralised later as centralisation is good for reverting bugs, better than wBTC, assets staked by REN. Mainnet launched. Partnerships with Acala Network / Polkadot, Binance, Coinbase, AVAX, DogeCoin on ETH (renDOGE), Solana, Pancake Swap. Better than other yield services, but needs lots of REN to stake a new token (similar to Set Protocol). Huge use within Defi Ethereum. When the REN bridge exists, it will explode, will allow easy plug and play of assets from one chain to another (unwrapping, and minting). Very transparent.
Not directly. Loans.
No. Competitor to Polkadot/DOT, ATOM/Cosmos. Lots of big investments. RUNE is security/gas/staking/interest token of the network, which as market making built in. Supports many popular chains, including Ethereum, Terra, Synthetics - but does it support tokens? Can have high transaction fees. Hacked twice. A bit ponzi style. 250 TPS - terrible. Trying to compete with much bigger players, and playing constant catchup.
Not yet. Ethereum Layer 2 solution, competes with LRC and zkSync.
Yes, speculative short hold.
Yes, speculative. Competitor to Ethereum, AVAX. Less secure than Ethereum, but much potential. 65,000 TPS (as much as Visa, less than POS-ETH). Proof of History. 1200 validators, very decentralised. FTX built on it. Audius, TikTok, Brave, Helium, partnerships. Supports USDC. Phantom is the Solana wallet. Supports NFTs. Had prior DDoS attacks. Wormholes are bridges. Billions of dollars in it (76B). Grayscale Solana Trust. Generates Yields and Staking. When will Solana mainnet launch - 2022 sometime??!?!? Major concerns about staking centralisation, and liquidity.
DO NOT USE, MERGE IS OCCURRING BETWEEN STAKE, Gnosic Chain, Xdai Chain, Gnosis
Maybe. Competitor to FIL.
No. UNI is better.
Maybe. It is a governance token for Stakewise/SETH2.
Not yet. Too complicated, needs sushiswap and a whole bunch of other nonsense. Elastic Vaults (EEFI) is more advanced at this stage.
No details.
No details. Redirects to FEI, which is a stablecoin.
No. Coingecko discord link is broken, many reports of it being a scam.
Not directly. Oracle. Competitor to LINK.
Yes. From experience it is the best layer 1 swap, better than sushi and balance, has plans for layer 2.
Yes, speculative. Clear usage, and winner over crypto.com marketing push for ultimate ponzi CRO staking scheme which fails to deliver - however without KYC they have a habit of closing accounts. Check with them on if KYC prevent account closures.
Not directly. Staking platform.
No. ZKSwap, ZKSpace, and ZKS are divergent from zkSync. zkSync is what Argent went with.
Yes. Very, used big Argent and ZigZag.
